Mattricks on Gentoo

Hi all, I'm a one week hattrick user and a mattrick 5 minutes user, and I'm a very old, errr... 2 years gentoo user more or less. So, the first time I saw the mattricks tarball I just created a simple (but it works!) gentoo ebuild for mattricks, for those interested it's at: bugs.gentoo.org, bug number 57671. Enjoy! Ah, as a recent hattrick player and even more recent mattricks user there are some things I don't understand in mattricks. Is there any user manual? Cheers, -- Paulo J. Mac OS-X "installation guide"

OK, some people are having trouble running Mattricks on Mac OS X. First, you should install wxPython and pyXML according to the webpage. Hopefully you will come to a stage where python complains about _bsddb when staring Mattricks.py (e.g. by double-clicking on it) The trick then is to do as follows (where # denotes a new line as the mail will break the lines): # curl http://undefined.org/python/pimp/bsddb-4.1.6.darwin-6.6-Power_Macintosh.tar… > bsddb.tgz # tar xzvf bsddb.tgz # mv ./Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.3/lib/python2.3/site-packages/_bsddb.so . # install_name_tool -change /Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.3/Python /System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.3/Python _bsddb.so # mv _bsddb.so /System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.3/lib/python2.3/ Then it should actually work (according to those who knows) For more information look at: http://lists.lysator.liu.se/pipermail/mattricks/2004-March/000371.html (in Swedish) http://divmod.org/users/mailman.twistd/pipermail/divmod-dev/2003-November/0… Good luck! Recipient of the attachment: TRSERVER, First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (TRSERVER), יוסי בן יהושע/תיבת דואר נכנס Subject of the message: Mail Delivery (failure yossi(a)pioneer-il.com) No action was taken on the attachment. Attachment message.scr was Logged Only for the following reasons: Scan Engine Failure (0x80004005)

Problem in mattricks installation

Hi, After installing and testing your Mattricks, I found it very interesting. The problem is that, after one or two usages, it failed to run again. I tried to uninstall and install it again, but without success. As an attachment goes the screenshot of the "error window" that appears when I try to run the program. I thank you in advance, hoping that you help me as soon as possible with this question. Sandro Santos
