Dear list,
I have now checked in a rudimentary team list, where you can kjeep track of your favourite teams and also add their next game to the viewer (or any other team as well).
Please try it out!
/Oscar

Works great for me! Thought there was a bug when it displayed the wrong team for my match, but when I checked it out on the site, the team I was supposed to meet had been replaced with a new.. =)
Is the list generally accessable? Could I use it in a new cmdline players function and perhaps it could be used in LeaguePage as well?

Yes, it is available from the database as "Mattricks.team_list", see rows 76-77 and 81 in TeamList.py.
Go ahead and use it in your player functions! I haven't really tested them (mainly as my computer setup is a mess so I prefer to run without command line arguments), but if it works as I imagine it would be useful to add that information to the player information dialog.
I will most likely add functionality to see a league table for a team in the list, and also to invoke it from the league table page.

It would be pretty useful in a team information dialog as well to see trends how players in other teams performs. Or, thats how I use it anyway.. =)

After 0.5 is released we will probably start to exchange all things related to players to use the xml:s (including hrf converting tools). Also we might begin to work on making a graph widget that could be used for displaying player trends and lots of other nifty things.

Yes, and keep track of other teams form and transfers (when palyers.asp is used).
Btw, have you tried building a Mac standalone executable?

I'd like that feature! =)

Yeah, but so far I havent gotten it to work correctly. I still dont really understand which stuff I need to send with the app and which I dont, but I'll have a nice clean computer to test it on this weekend so I'll probable have it working by beginning of next week.

I really miss a graph widget to display the changes in form of my team and value + skill of my players I'm training.
Btw, saw you wanted a goalie evaluation formula. I can probably write one that is ok, I used to train goalies and a couple of friends still do.

Hi guys,
I finally got the cvs version to work (my python was to old, and i managed to install the mandrake 9.2 version). must say that it has improved a lot lately. the matchviewer kicks ass, and this new feature rocks. keep up the good work guys :) (same goes for all the other new features and improvements)
ow, and one more question, how do i update the dutch translation? the nl.po file is fully translated (thats what kbabel says), but i dont think that i translated all the new stuff. is there a way to merge the new line with this file, or do i have to retranslate it all again?

Nice that our work is appreciated.

I will probably update the translations early next week.

You won't have to retranslate it all again, no. It will be merged seamlessly. Gettext is a nifty tool.

I suggest you to wait when all new stuff will be finished. Then I suppose Oscar or Ragnar will merge all po files and give us (translators) some time to update them. Then probably they'll release new 0.5 version.
You can also try to merge those po files by yourself. There are some scripts for that purposes in po/ subdirectory.
