Hi,
Yes, that's the reason. However in mine everything shows up ok! Check: http://mega.ist.utl.pt/~pocm/xxx.jpg
Can it be a dependency? Can you list all the python dependencies of mattricks? My Gentoo ebuild only checks for: pyxml wxpython

Hi!
All players that are missing have a special character such as é, á, í etc. I do not know why they are missing, but it is probably related to that. Do you have such players?
If you (or your girlfriend rather) right-click on a player in the player-list, does the name appear correctly in the player dialog?

Hi,
My girlfriend is also using mattricks under Gentoo Linux. For some reason, some players just show up with a blank name. Has anyone experienced this before? Is there any way I can get more info on this so that I can trace where the error is so that someone can fix it?
It's probably some particular situation since I don't have that problem.
