You have to supply team id, league id and season id, see the help for players. This is maybe not so convenient, so I guess that you may want left out parameters to have default values.
I'm going to add new defaults so that if you don't specify anything, you get your team, this season. In the same run, Ill remove the reference to "a" since it doesn't exist in that context.
