Hey everyone, I’ve been browsing through the discussions on Lysator mailing lists about open-source projects and documentation, but right now I’m pivoting toward something a bit more academic — my thesis. As I near the finish line, I realize how much of a difference thesis proofreading could make, especially for clarity and consistency.
Does anyone here have experience getting work proofread via community or paid services? What should I look for, and how do you approach someone to proofread academic content without being too formal or overly dependent on them? Any thoughts would be helpful!
