Really?? ... crazy. Do you happen to have the exact date that I subscribed? I seriously do not remember when I subscribed, it seems like I've always been here.

I just checked, but sadly the old mailing list program had worked it's (bad) magic on the logs for some reason (it never did unless I told it to manually) in January 2000, so those old dates are gone. I guess the only way to find out is to check them old digests and see when your first post appeared. Ok, December 1997 was your first post to the list, but I don't know if you were lurking the two years before that :P
