Is this list alive? :P
I've got some several videos, including a nice one shooted in Hamburg 1993.
Please let me know
David.

hi,
I want to know if that person who said they were gonna try to transfer their VHS versions of the music videos ever got a chance to do it.
I'm looking for uncompressed music videos from Slowdive (and Mojave 3 and other similar Creation & 4AD bands) to show on the big screen for a music video night I do in Boston.
Please get back to me!
thanks...

Hi there :) Yes it's still alive! Actually I haven't looked at the number of subscribers lately since it's been so quiet. I guess we ended up with little more to discuss at some point all those years ago. And of course these days, we got myspace, youtube and millions of forums and whatnot, so mailing lists aren't exactly the cool stuff it once was :)
But I've kept the list running, who knows what'll happen. Some of the guys have new bands these days, just heard the latest album from Monster Movie the other day (nice one mr. Savill!), Simon's band Televise has a new release out as well (but it seems to be impossible to find their records, any hints on a good source?) and Mojave 3 are still going strong so feel free to use the list. :)
I have some VHS with Slowdive as well, but haven't had the time to transfer them to something more proper. To be honest, I'm not sure where the tapes are since I moved a few years ago, but I'll have a look see when I do my spring cleaning (late as usual).
There are some videos out there on the net, though granted it's not the best quality. Here are some helpful links:

That is a cool thing you're doing there. My sister lives in Boston (Somerville) and I normally go to visit her a few times a year, so I'll definitely pop by if I'm in the area when you're doing a show. Currently it looks like I'm not going to be able to go there til autumn/winter though.

Tell your sister to come by this Thursday - I'll be doing it again then.
Keep in touch!
