Summary: assertion triggered in prot_a_output_read_texts() Product: lyskomd Version: 2.0.7 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: critical Priority: P1 Component: server AssignedTo: ceder@lysator.liu.se ReportedBy: ceder@lysator.liu.se QAContact: lyskomd-qa@lists.lysator.liu.se
The following assertion was triggered on RydKOM, which was running a pre-release of 2.1.0 at the time.
lyskomd: prot-a-output.c:166: prot_a_output_read_texts: Assertion `mship->no_of_read_ranges > 0' failed.
No core file was created, due to stupid Linux ulimit defaults. The bug has so far not been possible to recreate.
Preliminary analysis: copy_membership() and do_query_read_texts() can both set read_reanges to smalloc(0) when no_of_read_ranges is 0. All other code expects read_ranges to be set to NULL in that case. I'm now attempting to write test cases that trigger the assertion.
