http://www.noss123.com/ In a mortgage by legal charge, the debtor remains the legal owner of the property, but the creditor gains sufficient rights over it to enable them to enforce their security, such as a right to take possession of the property or sell it. To protect the lender, a mortgage by legal charge is usually recorded in a public register. Since mortgage debt is often the largest debt owed by the debtor, banks and other mortgage lenders run title searches of the real property to make certain that there are no mortgages already registered on the debtor's property which might have higher priority. Tax liens, in some cases, will come ahead of mortgages. For this reason, if a borrower has delinquent property taxes, the bank will often pay them to prevent the lienholder from foreclosing and wiping out the mortgage. This type of mortgage is common in the United States and, since 1925, it has been the usual form of mortgage in England and Wales (it is now the only form - see above). In Scotland, the mortgage by legal charge is also known as standard security. In addition to completing the educational requirements for a state real estate license, most states issue real estate licenses for limited time periods and require real estate professionals to complete a certain number of hours of further education on an annual or biannual basis in order to renew their licenses. Required course hours range from 10 to 20 per license period. Typically, some specific courses are required to be taken; these would include real estate law updates.

This doesn't mean that Hiveconf is discontinuated: It is actually used in a commercial product, and it works very well. [Announcement] Hiveconf configuration framework

I am happy to announce the first release of "Hiveconf", a UNIX configuration framework. Hiveconf is a system for storing configuration data (key-value pairs). The purpose is similiar to the Windows registry or GConf. Configuration data can be retrieved and modifyed via a simple API. The data is stored using different "backends". The default backend is using a text file format, similiar to smb.conf or Windows .INI files. This first release includes a Python library implementation, and documentation of how the system is intended to work. Lot of work remains to be done, but the current implementation is mature enough to demonstrate the basic principles. The implementation also includes a command-line tool ("hivetool"), which might be a useful tool for configuring any software that uses a Hiveconf compatible file format. This includes Samba and many KDE applications. Hi I'm running debian unstable and got an error when trying to pulid/install hiveconf cos:/tmp/hiveconf-0.2# make ./setup.py build /usr/bin/env: python2: No such file or directory make: *** [all] Error 127 Debian unstable has: /usr/bin/python pointing at 2.2.3 (on my system) /usr/bin/python1.5 /usr/bin/python2.1 /usr/bin/python2.2 I wonder what the right way to fix this is :-/ I just changed the offending path in my copy. -- Fördelen med gröna sniglar är att de varken är rosa eller blå.

Version 0.2 released

Shortly after I released 0.1, I noticed some problems with URL handling, which basically made Hiveconf unusable with some Python versions, like 2.2.2.
