Alltså, åker du Michael? I så fall bör vi anmäla dig snarast, för det tycks vara en snabbhetspremie i resebidraget. Som jag tolkar infon nedan är det både gratis hotell och resebidrag.
Vi kan också registrera en kvinnlig spelare, och det är väl Kerstin Bergström som står högst på rankinglistan, är hon studerande? Kan någon ta reda på om hon är intresserad av att åka?
Om Michael inte åker bör vi snabbt få fram någon annan.

The first European Student Go Championship will be played in Helsinki next October. The tournament is supported by EGF, the Ing Foundation, the Finnish Go Association, Gaimport ky, Three Beers, Virte-metalli oy (www.virte-metalli.fi)
Date 21. - 23. October 2005
Players The players must be students and they should prove their status with the ISIC-card or with a letter from their place of study. The age must be between 18 and 30 years on the 1st of August 2005. Players near the upper limit should be aware that the limit for the World Championship may not exactly match these limits.

System Because the EGF decided to give travel support from Ing Money the rules were set accordingly.

b.. Simplified Ing Rules. c.. Komi 8 points (black wins ties). d.. Thinking time 60 + 3*10 minutes Prizes Three players, two male and one female will get a place in the Student World Championships 2006. The male players must be from different countries. Other prizes are for other places.

By registering early you can get a bigger travel support. The support will not exceed the actual travel costs from a country.
Registering the first player from your country guarantees you the support
registering order Group Amount 1.-10. A 175 euro 11.-20. B 150 euro 21.-35. C 100 euroFive most remote countries get 50 euro extra.
Registering the second player with opposite sex of the first player from a country guarantees you the support
registering order Group Amouint 1.-10. D 100 euroIf all this is claimed then this amounts to total of 6000 euro which EGF has granted us for the travel support. If not all is claimed due to registrations by the deadline 31.8.2005, then additional support is granted as long as there is money left in the order below: Within the same criteria the countries are put in order of registration.
a.. Countries which are 6.-10. most remote get 50 euro each b.. Countries which are 1.-5.. most remote get additional 50 euro each c.. 25 euro for countries in group C d.. group E:100 euro for 10 countries sending a second player of same or opposite sex and not in group D. e.. 25 euro for countries in group A
f.. group F: 75 euro for 10 countries sending a third player g.. 50 euro for 5 countries sending the strongest players (counted from the weakest player) h.. 25 euro for countries in group B
i.. additional 25 euro for countries in group C If a registered player fails to arrive to the tournament the support based on his registration will be canceled. After the deadline of the registration countries are told the more accurate amount which they will receive as support. A country may then alter the registration before 4.9.2005.
