Yo!
Se nedan. Slutsats: vi kan med gott samvete betala för Revolution OS och visa den på install-fest om vi vill.

Philip,
Only the major studios are members of the MPAA. Wonderview Productions, LLC is not a studio and not a member of the MPAA.

Hello!
Thanks for granting this permission, we think that showing this film will be a nice touch to finish off our install-fest.
Our association is called Digifri, there is some information available in english at www.digifri.org/en.
When discussing this on our meeting, one of our members expressed concerns that maybe parts of the sales would go to an MPAA member and thus the MPAA, an organisation some of us would not be confortable putting money into. I've tried googling for clues, but have not been able to find out if Wonderview Productions is "MPAA-free", so to say. What is the situation?
I will get back to you with a webpage about the event when that page has been created on our website (the install-fest is in another 6 weeks).

Philip, Thank you for your interest in REVOLUTION OS. I am happy to give you permission to screen the DVD for your student association. What is the name of your student association? All I ask is that you or someone from your association purchase (or already have purchased) the DVD, e-mail me the time and place of the screening, and if possible e-mail me a link to a webpage announcing the screening. Good luck with the screening. Best Wishes, J.T.S. Moore Director, REVOLUTION OS On Mar 2, 2005, at 11:38 AM, Philip Jägenstedt wrote: Hello! We are a students association in Linköping, Sweden. Next month we are having an install-fest an would like to watch Revolution OS during or after the installing. Anyone is allowed to come to this event, so it cannot be consideres a closed or private viewing. A could guess is that maybe 10 or 15 people will be watching. We are non-profit and the install-fest will be free of charge. Is this ok, or would we need to pay for some special license? // Philip Jägenstedt, Digifri
