Sweet, thanks. Even though your device claimed that no data was ready to be 
transferred, it had no problem transferring the device information when we 
asked it to anyway. It's odd how all our devices have these subtle differences...

This solves the last remaining issue. (There have been reports of delays on 
media change but I'm not in any major rush to get this fixed right now.) I'm 
going to sort out some patches and submit them to linux-usb for review.
