YES!!! Spot on Daniel!

0.5.3 on a clean 2.6.9 kernel works absolutely perfect (in the true
sense of the word).

What is even better than expected is that I don't need to "touch"
anything (including /dev/sda ;P ). This is probably thanks to HAL+DBUS.

If I plug in the reader with card "Imagemate SDDR-0" appears in Nautilus
in "Computer://". Plugin in empty reader and later plugin in cf-card
also gives me this.

Detaching the the reader removes the entry from Computer://.

I have browsed through /var/log/{messages,debug}, and have found nothing
indicating any errors :)

I have no more cut-n-paste problems.

This is all on a fresh Dropline Gnome 2.8.2 on Slackware 10 install.

Cheers
kamstrup

PS: Aunt Tillie is ready for some action! :)
