About Fanac	English (USA)
Diskussioner om fanniska aktiviteter, avsedd att samla science fiction-fans intresserade av sf-kongresser och/eller sf-fanzines. Du kan diskutera (1) kongresser, fanzines, fans och sammankomster, och (2) skriven science fiction, skapare av skriven sf och filmer inom sf/fantasy-genren. Inga utdragna diskussioner om rollspel, TV-serier, tecknade serier och andra medier! Utdragna (> 6 brev) diskussioner om ting som inte ryms under punkterna (1) eller (2) ovan, samt trista ordstrider, undanber vi oss. KORSPOSTA INTE brev till Fanac och Sverifandom! Skriv separata brev. Brev till listan ska vara skrivna i ren text utan formatering i HTML, LaTeX eller annat liknande. Skicka inte filer som bilagor till listan. Listmedlemmar som upprepat bryter mot de reglerna kan komma att kastas ut. Denna lista har ett arkiv. Alla texter som skrivs arkiveras i tid och evighet och kan komma att hittas av Google i framtiden. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Fanac Archives. Using Fanac
To post a message to all the list members, send email to fanac@lists.lysator.liu.se. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Fanac
Subscribe to Fanac by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a public list, which means that the list of members list is available to everyone. (but we obscure the addresses so they are not easily recognizable by spammers). Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
