Länken är på /. just nu så jag är väl ute för sent som alltid... men det här projektet torde fascinera de mer politiskt intresserade av oss:
Ett koolt projekt med mål att skapa en infrastruktur för donationer till icke-proprietära alster (mjukvara, musik, böcker, etc). Tror det blir svårt -- i slutändan handlar det om att ändra människors mentalitet och det är aldrig lätt -- men jag tycker det är härligt med folk som försöker.
In other news så drar jag till Berlin imorn. Dels för att njuta av vacker opera, fint väder och en trevlig stad, och dels för att besöka den här asballa konferensen:
"The Wizards of OS are concerned with the emerging knowledge order of digital media. Their focus is on the potential of PC and Internet for fostering free communication and open collaboration in the creation of knowledge.
The free zones of the digital knowledge order are a phenomenon made up of connective intelligence, of technology and culture, economy and law. By its very nature they have to be approached in a broadly interdiciplinary manner. The wos conferences, workshops and online resources provide a plattform for this meeting of „hard" techno sciences with „soft" cultural and social sciences, of hackers and lawyers, of business people and artists, of activists and politicians."
